Rest

"The more I seek You, the more I find you!" Sit at His feet today, rest your head upon His chest. Just let Him love on you today. His heart beats FOR YOU! Lay back against Him and just breathe today....forever! Look at the beauty around us, just look at the things They created just for our enjoyment, and for theirs, Father...Son...& Holy Spirit! As I write this, I hear the birds singing outside my window, and a bird just flew up to the window and hit the screen with its wings. Oh the beauty of His creations! Take time for Him today, you will be blessed!

Listen to the #2 song to the right of this post!!!

Pull Up The Dead Stuff

Pull up the dead stuff in your garden! The things that produce no life anyway!!! Useless patterns of thinking, and lies to name a couple...You do not plant seeds in your gardens at home without first pulling up the dead things from last year right? So, get out the hoe and "chop, chop"!! Replace the lies with the truth of who God says you are! Set your mind on Him and He will keep you in perfect peace!!

How Do We Cultivate?

So~ How do we cultivate? How do we prepare our hearts for His plantings? By seeking Him! By spending time with the Gardener of our souls. Intimacy with the Lord softens your heart, and by receiving and believing that the Lord loves us! UNCONDITIONALLY! God's unconditional love for us is the foundation (or the soil) for which everything else grows!

Cultivated?

Think 1st of your heart as a garden. Is the soil there soft and pliable and ready for seeds? The plantings of the Lord? Or is it a little hard, and uncultivated, and unmovable? Maybe it had been flourishing at one time, but then the weeds came, probably because of circumstances, and the ground of your heart became hard.

"Breakup your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord..." - Hosea 10:12

Intimacy with our Jesus breaks up the hard, uncultivated ground of our hearts! Time spent with Him in the secret place of our garden. He is the Lover of our souls!
